PWM Now Produces 60% of the Monterey Peninsula’s Water
In October 2025, Pure Water Monterey completed their Expansion project on time and on budget. That increased production of recycled drinking water for the Monterey Peninsula to 60% of the total and created a sustainable water supply for decades to come.

Water Supply Charge Reimbursement Coming Your Way
MPWMD has discontinued the Water Supply Charge for Fiscal 2024-25 following a court ruling in September 2024 requiring the charge be suspended. The median Water Supply Charge reimbursement for District residents who paid property taxes in Fiscal Year 2023‑24 is $44 per household. READ MORE >
