PWM Now Produces 60% of the Monterey Peninsula’s Water
This month (October), Pure Water Monterey completed their Expansion project on time and on budget, which increased production of recycled drinking water for the Monterey Peninsula to 60% of the total, thereby creating a sustainable water supply for decades to come.

Steelhead Rescued from Drying Portions of the Carmel River
Every Spring, the Carmel River begins to dry out, trapping thousands of Steelhead in shallow pools along the river. Depending on size, those fish are either rescued and taken to the rearing facility at Sleepy Hollow or released into the ocean to one day return to spawn.
