On November 6, 2018, Alvin Edwards was elected to represent voter division 1 and George Riley was elected to represent voter division 2. They may take the oath of office at noon on December 7, 2018 or any day thereafter.
The next election for directors will occur in November 2020 for voter divisions 3, 4 and 5. The Monterey County Elections Department conducts MPWMD Board member elections, and will distribute an election schedule in 2020.
