SUMMARY: Attached
as Exhibit 2-A, is the version of
the PureWater Monterey Groundwater Replenishment
(GWR) and Castroville Seawater Intrusion Project “Source Waters and Water
Recycling” Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that was advanced by the County
Water Resources Agency Finance Committee for consideration by its full board on
September 22nd. A summary of
benefits is attached as Exhibit 2-B. There is some likelihood of additional edits
of the non-substantive nature, but the terms described in the attached draft
are not expected to be change.
RECOMMENDATION: The
Committee should consider recommending that the Board adopt the MOU. It is expected that a special meeting of the
Board will be required for adoption.
