SUMMARY:   Development of an aquifer storage and recovery project within the Carmel River Watershed in the Tularcitos Creek Sub-basin has been identified as a potential supplemental water supply option for the MPWMD.  The area of interest in the Tularcitos Basin is outside of the MPWMD boundaries and accordingly, little technical information exists in the District’s files.  Attached for committee review and discussion as Exhibit 5-A is a proposed work plan for a preliminary data compilation effort that will include development of technical data in support of subsequent work that may result in a full feasibility analysis of this project concept.
