Marina Coast Water District (MCWD) serves the Monterey Peninsula's fastest growing and most diverse communities — the City of Marina and the Ord Community (the former Fort Ord).

Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency operates the regional wastewater treatment plant located two miles north of Marina. MRWPCA member communities are Pacific Grove, Monterey, Del Rey Oaks, Seaside, Sand City, Fort Ord, Marina, Castroville, Moss Landing, Boronda, Salinas and some unincorporated areas in northern Monterey County.
