SUMMARY: The Monterey Peninsula Regional Water Authority, through its TAC asked the District to evaluate the necessary water supply required by a new project or projects.  This was requested for a TAC meeting on Monday May 7, 2012 prior to an opportunity for the District Board to review or discuss.  The attached memorandum was prepared and distributed.  At the District’s May 21, 2012 meeting Director Markey asked that it be further evaluated and a determination made as to whether it should be adopted as District policy, further revised, or no additional action.

 

RECOMMENDATION:  The General Manager recommends that the Committee review the enclosed memorandum as an information item.
