Review and Discuss Proposed Draft Ordinance No. 134, An Ordinance Modifying the Definition of the Monterey Peninsula Water Resources System and the District’s Expanded Water Conservation and Standby Rationing Plan

Action:  The committee will review the draft ordinance, suggest changes and develop a recommendation for Board consideration at the first reading scheduled for May 19, 2008.  To review the staff report, refer to agenda item 2 of the April 29, 2008 Water Demand Committee packet.

Review Final Report from Community Advisory Committee to the Board Regarding the Draft Cease and Desist Order Issued Against California American Water and Consider Recommendations Regarding Water Conservation Measures

Action:  The committee will review the report and determine if suggestions made by the Community Advisory Committee related to water conservation should be pursued.  To review the staff report, refer to agenda item 3 of the April 29, 2008 Water Demand Committee packet.
