SUMMARY: With the growth of social media and the launch of the MPWMD Facebook page, staff drafted a social media policy. This policy establishes guidelines for the establishment and use of social media sites. The finalized policy will be posted to www.mpwmd.net, and all District social media sites will include a link to the policy. Attached for committee review and discussion as Exhibit 5-A is the MPWMD Social Media Policy.

RECOMMENDATION: The Committee should review and discuss the policy. Any suggestions for modifications will be considered at the meeting.
