Prior to Adoption:

  • Board committee will review/recommend on proposed rule change(s)
  • TAC will review draft ordinance
  • Board committee will review draft ordinance
  • Public Hearing 1st Reading: Summary published in newspaper, staff report posted to website
  • Public Hearing 2nd Reading:  Staff report posted to website

 

After Adoption: 

  • Prepare a “fact sheet” highlighting rule changes
  • Post ordinance and fact sheet on website
  • Provide copy of ordinance and fact sheet to all Planning and Building Departments, City and Airport District Manager, County Supervisors 
  • Offer to meet with jurisdiction’s staff to review new policies
  • Deliver handouts/applications to jurisdiction, when applicable
  • Provide copies to public at District office (upon request)
