SUMMARY: The charge to the Community Advisory Committee requires that a final report outlining the merits and drawbacks of projects listed on the Matrix of Water Supply Alternatives be presented to the Board for consideration at its September 17, 2007 meeting. At the February 6, 2007 Community Advisory Committee (CAC) there was no resolution to the discussion on preparation of the final report. Attached as Exhibit 7-A is a suggested plan for development of the final report that was prepared by District staff and reviewed by the CAC at the February 6 meeting. Also attached as Exhibit 7-B, is a suggested format for presenting CAC member comments in the final report.

RECOMMENDATION: The CAC should review Exhibits 7-A and 7-B and decide if the suggested approach for development of the report should be followed, and also consider appointment of a sub-committee to prepare the draft report for review by the full committee on August 27, 2007.
