Committee Recommendation: At its May 2, 2013 meeting the Water Supply Planning Committee approved 3-0. The Administrative Committee reviewed this item on May 13, 2013 and recommended _________________.

SUMMARY: The attached Cost Sharing Agreement (Exhibit 5-A) includes comments and edits from both MPWMD and MRWPCA staff. It reflects the change from the 50%/50% cost sharing split originally envisioned to a 75% MPWMD/25% MRWPCA split beginning next fiscal year. The agreement does not provide an ownership interest to the District in any physical assets, however the District will own and resell the water. This is similar to the Reclamation Project.

RECOMMENDATION: The Water Supply Planning Committee recommends that the Board approve the attached Cost Sharing Agreement.
