SUMMARY: Ordinance 152 requires that the District Board create a nine member “Ordinance 152 Citizen’s Oversight Panel” as an advisory board to the Board of Directors. On December 10, 2012, the Board of Directors ratified the appointment of Rick Smith, representing the Monterey County Association of Realtors, and Paul Bruno, representing the Monterey Peninsula Taxpayers Association. Shown below is a list of seven appointees, each one selected by a member of the Board of Directors. Confirmation of these appointments will complete the nine member panel.

RECOMMENDATION: Confirm the appointment of members to the Ordinance No. 152 Oversight Panel for a two-year term ending January 1, 2015, or the date the appointing Director vacates office as a member of the MPWMD Board of Directors, whichever shall occur first.
