Committee Recommendation: In a meeting on July 30, 2010, the Chair and Vice Chair recommended that the Board adopt Resolution 2010-12.

SUMMARY: The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) is celebrating its centennial anniversary in 2010. The association requested that its member agencies increase awareness of this event by adopting a resolution that recognizes the centennial. Attached as Exhibit 2-A, is Resolution No. 2010-12 that commends ACWA for a century of leadership on California water issues and for its role in developing the policies and regulations that have helped shape the state’s growth and development.

RECOMMENDATION: District staff recommends approval of the resolution attached as Exhibit 2-A.
