SUMMARY:  District employees are presented awards for length of service at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 year intervals.  Employees who reach a longevity milestone are recognized at monthly staff meetings, when the General Manager presents the employee with a plaque and an engraved pen.  In 2009, Thomas Lindberg, Associate Hydrologist, was recognized for 25 years of service to the District, and Michael Boles, Conservation Representative 1, was recognized for 5 years of service.

RECOMMENDATION:  The Board should congratulate Thomas Lindberg and Michael Boles for their service to the District and recognize them for their long-term commitment to the goals of the agency.
