A Resolution of the Board of Directors

of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District

Expressing Appreciation to Richard H. Rosenthal

for Service on the Carmel River Advisory Committee

WHEREAS, Richard H. Rosenthal was first appointed to the Carmel River Advisory Committee on August 29, 2002; and

WHEREAS, the Carmel River Advisory Committee was established to provide recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding District activities relating to management of the Carmel River, including erosion protection, riverbank restoration, and maintenance of healthy riparian vegetation; and

WHEREAS, Richard H. Rosenthal served on the Carmel River Advisory Committee from August 2002 through October 2008; and

WHEREAS, as a member of the Committee and a river-front property owner, Richard H. Rosenthal provided valuable experience, guidance and leadership in implementing District programs for the Carmel River;

NOW THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District hereby expresses appreciation to Richard H. Rosenthal for notable dedication and assistance during his tenure as a member of the Carmel River Advisory Committee and for his significant contributions to the District and the Community.
