The purpose of this special Board meeting is to provide an opportunity for the exchange of ideas among Board members and staff.  The Directors will take no formal action.  Any draft strategic plan developed today will be presented for public input, consideration and adoption at a future regular meeting of the Board.

The Board will conduct a far-reaching discussion that could include topics such as: near-term (2010 – 2013) and long-term (2013 – 2020) projects; Cease and Desist Order 2009-0060; long-term planning issues; mitigation measures; and budgetary considerations.

After staff reports have been distributed, if additional documents are produced by the District and provided to a majority of the Board regarding any item on the agenda, they will be available at the District office during normal business hours, and posted on the District website at  Documents distributed at the meeting will be made available in the same manner.
