Action Items

1. Receive Minutes of the September 18, 2008 Meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee

On a motion by O’Halloran and second by Bodensteiner, the minutes were received unanimously on a vote of 5 – 0.

2. Discuss Concept Ordinance No. 137, Amending Regulation XV, Expanded Water Conservation and Standby Rationing Plan

Stephanie Pintar, Water Demand Manager, reviewed conceptual amendments to Regulation XV that would be included in Ordinance No. 137. The concepts respond to issues discussed in the Settlement Agreement between CAW and MPWMD, dated August 11, 2008. Other proposed edits to the regulation clarify or strengthen existing language and requirements. The Technical Advisory Committee discussed the concept ordinance and provided feedback to staff. On a motion by Hardgrave and second by Conroy, the Technical Advisory Committee recommended the Board adopt Ordinance No. 137 on a vote of 5-0.
