Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 8 AM in the District conference room.

Receive Minutes
of February 19, 2009 Committee Meeting
On a motion
by Director Doyle and second by Director Edwards, the minutes were received
unanimously on a vote of 3 – 0.
2. Develop
Recommendation to the Board Regarding the Special Meeting of MRWPCA Board of Directors
and Ad Hoc Water Supply Planning Committee Regarding Development of Long-Term
Agreements Among MRWPCA, MCWD and MCWRA to Support the Proposed Regional Water
Project, and Direct Preparation of a District Response
Director Doyle made a motion to recommend that the Board send a letter to the Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency indicating support for the Regional Water Project and requesting that the MPWMD be included in the leadership and management framework for the Regional Water Project. The motion was seconded by Director Edwards and adopted unanimously on a vote of 3 – 0. During the discussion, it was suggested that one or two directors should participate in the leadership and management framework. Director Brower volunteered to represent the District.
