During the month of June 2003, a total of 172.0
acre-feet (AF) of water was used by golf course and open space users in the Del
Monte Forest area. Of this total: 112.0
AF of reclaimed water were produced by the CAWD/PBCSD Wastewater Reclamation
Project (Project); and 60.0 AF of potable water was provided by the
California-American Water Company.
During the current water year, (i.e., October 2002 through June 2003),
the Project has provided 385.0 AF, or 72 percent, of the water used for
irrigation by the golf courses and other open spaces within the Del Monte
Forest area.
Exhibit 34-A lists quantities of reclaimed and potable water
use for the 2002 - 2003 water year from the Reclamation Project. The far right column shows the overall
percentage of reclaimed water used during each month.
The tables shown in
Exhibit 34-B show
reclaimed and potable water used by the Project during calendar years 1995
through 2002.
