  Notes:
  1.  The minimum pool requirements at Los Padres and San Clemente Reservoirs are 91 acre-feet @ elevation 980 ft and 71 acre-feet @ elevation 515 ft, respectively.
  2.  Projected inflow for the May 2003 through December 2003 period is based on the expectation that unimpaired flows at San Clemente Dam will be near the median historical flows (1902-2001) and
similar to the daily recession rate during the May through August 1965 period.
  3.  Calculated inflow to San Clemente Reservoir is distributed 67% above Los Padres Dam and 33% between Los Padres and San Clemente Dams.
  4.  Estimated evaporation is based on average monthly reservoir surface area and gross monthly evaporation rates developed by  US Army Corps of Engineers (1981).
  5.  Releases and diversions are consistent with terms of the 2001 Conservation Agreement between the NOAA Fisheries and California-American Water Company, and with the conditions in SWRCB Order WRO  2002-2002.
  6.  Actual date of setting surface diversion to zero from San Clemente Reservoir will depend on the definition of low flow period, per Condition No. 1 in SWRCB WRO 2002-0002, such that "low flow periods are defined as times when streamflow in the Carmel River at Don Juan Bridge (RM 10.8) gage is less than 20 cfs for five consecutuve days", or on the beginning date of drawdown at San Clemente Reservoir, per the Interim Drawdown Project scheduled to begin June 23, 2003.
