SUMMARY: The public hearing for this item was opened on April 21, 2003 and was continued to June 16, 2003. The staff report from the April 21,2003 meeting is shown at Exhibit 19-A. At the April 21,2003 meeting, the applicant submitted a letter to the Board (Exhibit 19-B).

Directors Potter and Henson were not in attendance on April 21, 2003 and will need to listen to the tape of the public hearing prior to the Board meeting to vote on the variance application. Minutes of the April 21, 2003 Board meeting are shown as Exhibit 19-C.

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends denial of the variance request from District Rule 24-C for the reasons stated in the recommendation shown at Exhibit 19-A and presented to the Board on April 21, 2003.
