During the month of February 2003, a total of
14.0 acre-feet (AF) of water was used by golf course and open space users in
the Del Monte Forest area. Of this total
13.0 AF of reclaimed water were produced by the CAWD/PBCSD Wastewater
Reclamation Project (Project) and 1.0 AF, of potable water was provided by the
California-American Water Company.
During the past twelve months, (i.e., March 2002 through February 2003),
the Project has provided 768.0 AF, or 71 percent, of the water used for
irrigation by the golf courses and other open spaces within the Del Monte
Forest area.
Exhibit 23-A lists quantities of reclaimed and potable water
use for the past year from the Reclamation Project. The far right column shows the overall
percentage of reclaimed water used during each month.
