Mission Statement By the year 2005, the Monterey
Peninsula Water Management District will ensure a reliable water supply to
meet present and future needs and be recognized as a leader in integrated

Vision Statement The mission of the Monterey Peninsula
Water Management District is to manage, augment and protect water resources
for the benefit of the community and the environment. |

January 16, 2002 and February 21, 2002 strategic planning sessions. The District’s mission and vision statements
