SUMMARY: Shown below is a list of the District’s Board committees. All committees are made up of less than a quorum of the Board. The Administrative Committee is the District’s one standing committee and is subject to all Brown Act noticing requirements. The remaining four ad hoc committees do not meet regularly, but only as needed and are not subject to the Brown Act.
A list of committee assignments for 2003 was not available prior to production of the Board packet. However, a list of proposed committee assignments will be presented for consideration at the January 30, 2003 Board meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: The Board should review the list of committee assignments for 2003 that will be presented at the Board meeting and approve the appointments that have been recommended by Chair Henson.
